Katee's Craft Cupboard

I have been busy lately making fun dress-up stations. They are for sale for just $45/each, and I can customize for any room decor! They can also be used for winter coats, clothes, or anything else you need to hang. Take a look!

I'm currently working on an owl and a  pine tree w/ snow. Let me know if you have any other ideas!

Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for more projects from Katee's Craft Cupboard!

September 2012 Overview

Ok... here is September's top events...

1. We went to Deanna Rose Farmstead as a family. Shaun had never been there, so it was fun for him to be able to see all the animals with Hampton!

2. Hampton loves the playground! Both with and without friends...

3. I started a business! It's called Katee's Craft Cupboard (visit me at facebook.com/kateescraftcupboard). It's where I make things, and sell them! I can do custom for any home or room decor! There are a few items posted on my facebook page, and many more in progress. Check it out, and let me know if you are interested in anything you see! If you have any ideas of things that I should make, let me know that as well!
    a) I did my first craft show with my sister, Ashlee, and her friend. I was able to sell one "Imagination Station," which was pretty good considering that there weren't many people there at all! Here are a few of the items I have so far...
This is my logo. Can you tell what it is?

These are called "Imagination Stations." They are for dress-ups, winter coats, or anything else needing hanging. They are the right height within the kids' reach so they can do it themselves! There is also a box at the bottom for your convenience! Put their props, masks, gloves, hats, boots and more inside for storage!

Here is the side view, as well as the winter coat one I have so far.

 Rubber band guns.

Family Tree wall hangings, building blocks, nativity building blocks, and much also available! (Not pictured). See my facebook page for more and upcoming items!

August 2012

Here's the rundown of August...

August's Top 8 (in no particular order)--

1. Hampton and I decided to go with Shaun out to the DZ and hang out. Shaun would LOVE to have a DZ kid, so I guess this was the beginning!

 2. Hampton and I went to the Johnson County Fair a few days before his birthday just for fun. We didn't go on any rides, but Hampton did play one game and HE won a dog!!!

3. We went to the zoo with some friends.

4. We went to the Great Midwest Balloon Fest! Actually, it was pretty lame. We spent money on tickets to see exactly what we would have seen sitting in the parking lot across the street... guess where we'll be next year...

5. HAMPTON TURNED 1!!! He's growing up so fast! We had a water play date party for him and his friends on his birthday (Aug 16), then a cookout for our friends and family the following Saturday (Aug 18). Thank you to all who celebrated with us! (PS-- He loves all the presents!)

The shirt I made my big 1-year-old!
We put balloons in his crib the morning of his birthday... I think he knew right off it was a special day!

Hampton and Mommy took a nap when festivities were over.
Daddy helped open presents when he got home from work.

Cookout Party

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY HAMPTON!
Mommy and Daddy love you very much!!!

6. I helped coach our ward's YW in the Stake Basketball Tournament... and we WON!!! Way to go girls! You all did awesome! Thanks for the hard work and great team effort!

7. A friend of mine was pregnant (she had the baby last week), but didn't know the gender. Her husband is from India, and it is custom in his culture that the baby is brought home in one of the father's shirts. I didn't think I could make an outfit for her, so I made a blanket out of her husband's shirt instead, and put a cute little animal in the pocket. (Not the one pictured--that is Hampton's from his Granny Joan!)

8. Hampton likes forts and houses. I made a fort for him by putting a sheet over a table, and a blanket on the ground underneath. I also made a house out of a big box. Both provide endless hours of entertainment for him!
