May & June 2012

So, it's been awhile since my last post. Things have been super crazy! I'll try not to bore anyone. Here's what happened in May & June.

May:
1. Went to Utah w/ Hampton and my MIL, Joan.
*Hampton did amazing in the car on the long ride. We only had to stop about 3 times each day (stopping overnight), and that was when it was time to get gas anyway. He would wake up, play in his chair for a while, then start whining to tell us it was time to stop for 15-30 minutes. We didn't make horrible time either!
2. May 13th was my first "official" Mother's Day!
*It was fun being able to celebrate "me!" =) Hampton (and Shaun) gave me a new camera! It's wonderful! I love it! The one I had before was good, but too big. I couldn't take it anywhere without taking up a ton of space. Now I can stick the new one in my back pocket or purse, and it hardly takes up any room at all. Plus it has better picture quality! Yay!

June:
1. I went to Girl's Camp with the Young Women!
*I volunteered to go to camp with my ward because I miss it from my teenage years, and always wanted to go as an adult leader. Well, I ended up as a Stake leader instead! I was the Stake 4th Level Leader, AND the 6th & 7th years' (YCL--Youth Camp Leader) leader! I made a new friend with the sister that was over the 5th years, but we worked together with all of the YCLs. It was so fun!

I had a great time, and I'm pretty sure all of the girls did too! I got to know so many wonderful young women and leaders! Enjoy a few pictures on my facebook page! (I don't have them saved to my computer, so I can't upload them right now. Now sure where they are saved at the moment. :))
