1. We spent Easter in Manhattan with my MIL, Joan. We haed a nice time and were able to help get a lot done around her house.
2. KC, MO Temple Open House--I was able to help clean the temple, then attended the Open House 3 times with friends and family. It was AMAZING! I can't wait for it to be dedicated and start doing the Lord's work!
3. My family came into town--all but Whitnee and Derrick--and we celebrated Easter a week late. We got pictures taken of all 5 grandkids with the grandparents and Uncle Dustin. SO CUTE! We also went to the temple open house, and that was a great experience.
4. Hampton and I are going to Utah with my MIL next week for a couple of weeks, and I'm super excited! I'm worried because Hampton has never been on this long of a trip yet, so it'll be an interesting experience. I have 3 Signing Time movies for the car though, so hopefully that'll help. =)
It's time for me to get caught up on this blog. I'm going to give a short top 3-5 events of each month Jan-Mar, add some pictures, and call it good. Here we go...
January:
1. Weather was decent, so Shaun started trying out his grill/smoker, and he does an AMAZING job! I don't mind being the taste tester at all! Hampton loves to help him too!
2. Hampton loves to splash around in the tub with his rubber duck, and loves playing with all of his toys.
3. My sister, Hailee, moved to St. Louis with her family for her hubby's new job. Hampton and I went up to help and H met his cousins Adison and Timmy for the first time. The boys are about 2 1/2 months apart, and had a blast together!
February:
1. Hampton had some 6 month pictures taken (Finally!)
2. Hampton and I went to a Valentine's Day party with the SAHM group we're in, and had fun with all of the other kids his age.
3. Hampton started eating meat and snacks with his hands--he is good at drinking out of a water bottle if he is really thirsty, but he loves his sippy cup, as well as mum mums. :)
4. I did the 14 days of Valentine's for Shaun. It was fun, and he really appreciates when I do little things for him.
March:
1. Hampton tries to army crawl, but ends up rolling everywhere- always under chairs! He's starting to get into everything.
2. I made Hampton a cute St Patty's Day outfit for church.
3. We went to a family St Patty's Day party with the SAHM group so hubbies could meet everyone.
4. (My favorite) Mom and Dustin came to visit during their Spring Break. I have tried and tried to get Hampton to laugh as much as he did at Dustin, but he just won't do it. He just LOVES his Uncle Dustin! (See video below!)
5. I finally re-finished the cabinet I got off of Craigslist for under our tv. I still need to put something in the panels, but I was waiting until I make curtains so I can put matching fabric in them. (Pics to come soon!)
That's a wrap! I'll try to keep up from now on. Hampton is awake now, so I'll have to do my April post later. Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
